A black sleeveless dress by french designer jean colonna. Made in the 1990s from a lightweight cotton poplin, the dress is relatively plain apart from the decision to place a number of darts across the dress in irregular arrangements, and additionally to sew the dart value on the outside of the dress rather than the inside. Edges are finished with a delicate babylock.
